I loved the traditional Japanese breakfast—it was an amazing assortment of delicacies! The atmosphere and decor were stunning too. Just a shame there weren't enough outlets in the room. 😅

this place was definitely 'unique' with super cramped quarters, even for a single traveler. breakfast was an absolute joke, partially inedible salt bombs. shockingly, no complimentary gestures for my inconvenience. a little room upgrade would have been nice. overall, i almost thought about leaving a good review but just couldn't.

great location but limited charging options
The location was fantastic. just a short walk to Nishiki Market and easy access to public transport. I particularly enjoyed the traditional breakfast. it had a nice variety and was beautifully presented each morning. The men's onsen was also a clean and relaxing space where I could unwind after a day of exploring. Additionally, my room had a lovely tea nook that added a charming touch to my stay.

The public bath was a highlight of our stay, providing a relaxing and authentic Japanese experience.
The hotel feels somewhat dated, reminiscent of a business hotel from the past, which might not meet everyone's expectations of a traditional ryokan.

The Japanese-Style Room was surprisingly spacious for our family of four, with comfortable beds and a nice tea nook to relax. The futons were really comfy, especially when they were set up every night. Plus, the decor was traditional and beautiful. Only downside was that there weren't many outlets for charging devices. Overall, it was a lovely, cozy stay!
